Ok, so I'm just mixing two evenings with the club into one post hear. So, firstly, on the 8th March, we surprised Zoey Cutebear that she would be joining FR! She had been super close to joining so a while so it was great to finally welcome her into our family. Afterwards, some Frosties and I went on a little climbing trip around GED for some fun jumping on things. Recently, FR has been in love with the disco so, on Saturday (10th March) we all did a bit of dancing together while chatting about the predictably random stuff that just comes up on our group chats. Naturally, when I decided to take a seat everyone decided to invade my personal space... And there was even a fox in the photo (I hate foxes)!! Basically, two random and chill evenings with the family.

I'm so happy and proud to announce that FR has officially turned three! Three whole years of this crazy family hanging around together. Three years of memories, fun and laughs. As I have been in FR since day one, it is such a large part of my life and I am so proud to be the owner as it starts working towards year number 4. Today's event was all about honoring the past, so we met at SF in our beautiful purple uniform: Then, a short hack to where we celebrated our birthday last year and we recreated the circle that we made then. It was a bit bigger this time though! Finally, we hacked to the cafe at Jarlaheim which was where one of the first events ever happen. It was a tea party so we all brought some tea clothes along to celebrate. Consider back in March 2015 there were only 4 people, you can see how the club has got a big bigger... After the main event was over, some Frosties came to do a little exploring on and island while others Skyped - just a bit of chilling out together to end the day. Hugs
Li xx A few days ago, the remake of the North Swedish horse came out, so it was time for FR to make the already beautiful horse make it look even more beautiful at a little photo shoot together. Then we decided to test it out with the wild horse feature. Has anyone else noticed that these horses move around so much so it's impossible to get a nice picture? Recently, we've been adding people outside of open events (because spaces are frequently becoming rarer, we are just giving them out when they appear) so we surprised Brooke Oaklund and Annie Cloudrider with a space each! A massive welcome hug to both of you. Shortlist and interest list have now been updated. Expect Valentine's open event details to be coming through to all on the interest list soon.
Li xx On Saturday, we had a joint event with Jarls Hunters. The owner contacted me asking if I was interested in having a joint event with them and I thought it sounded like a good idea. Too often clubs come together to argue, rather than have a good time. So, having a good time is exactly what we did! We met up in the riding hall. We decided to have a chilled event (no games because of competitiveness). So the Frosties set up a Skype call together within the event because we weren't doing anything that required too much focus. We had a hack around the island through Forgotten Fields together in a big group. Then we all sat down for a picnic. I must say, red and purple go great together! As our first photo couldn't get everyone in, we got another photo at South Hoof all together looking completely awesome (as always). Then we took the ferry to the disco to dance the night away! Thank you Jarls Hunters for a lovely event, it was great meeting you all. Also cheers FR for being your normal idiotic selves. I hope that everyone had a great time.
Hugs Li xx One of FR's favourite pass times is climbing. Climbing anything! So one of our lovely members, Ana Youngwright, hosted a climbing event. We all met in uniform on our favourite horses for climbing: Then it was simple. Everyone was divided into groups before they started the climb up to the tower (check out Li Silentland YouTube channel for a tutorial on the climb). There was a lot of rage quitting, falling and failing, but slowly the Frosties reached the top! Thank you all for coming, I hope you had a great time.
Remember to smile! Hugs, Li xx Happy Birthday SSO! Today's open event was in honor of SSO's sixth birthday so we all met in our blue clothes in the normal place, ready for the open event. Caitlin Lightlake was running this event, so we hacked to the Riding Hall, ditched our horses and just generally took over arena A. Cait then asked us questions about SSO. They were multiple choice questions so you had to run to the letter that the answer corresponded to in 10 seconds. The first game ended in one round and was won by Eva Frogcake and the second game (which was a lot longer) was won by Britney Sharkhaven - well done lads. It wouldn't be a birthday event without having some cake and siting at the table. What we didn't expect is that the table was actually too long for everyone to sit on! You can't see but down the end everyone is squashing each other like mad. It was then time for votes, four people were voted to be added to the shortlist, five people to be moved and and two people were voted to join. So a massive welcome to Ursula Moonwood and Ashley Easthunter - you've been in the club two days now and I can honestly say that you fit in perfectly and we are all so happy to welcome you in the Frostie family! Once the open event was over, it was time for some FR tradition. In 2015, Ava Northstar took a photo of FR at the birthday cake (see bottom right). In 2016, she did it again (see top left). And this year, 2017, it was my turn. I think that these photos illustrate the club perfectly. How it hatched and grew under V's ownership and will continue to grow under mine. I'm not just talking about the amount of people at events, as that hasn't changed since 2016, I'm talking about the way that our family grows. Once a Frostie, always a Frostie. Regardless of where or why you go, FR will always be a part of you because that's what we always have been and that's what we always will be.
There was much anticipation for tonight's meeting because everyone wanted to know what it was about. So, they all gathered at the Club Hall ready to listen to the what I had to say. If you're not in FR, I'd say that you don't need to read the next part! Being quiet in photos - being quiet means being quiet. No emotes, talking on say. Spamming people that come online, saying weba, brb or back all count as talking!
Turning up on time and organized for events - read the calendar and plan ahead. If it says a certain horse and you own one - ride it! I don't care if it's red face and only level 2. No masks - this includes anything that you put on your face (small glasses are allowed) because it's become a bit of a thing to wear big masks to events and it's making everything look messy. Listening to the event host - quiet means quiet! It's more fun for everyone if you're quiet. After the seriousness, we went on a little hack and everyone was given a NPC. They then had to roast each other's NPC. If someone roasted them, they had to roast them back - but everyone just wanted to insult Mr Kembell! Kailey Kittensmith decided it was time to find the fastest Frostie in FR. In their racing gear, everyone gather at SF ready to take on Kailz's races and the other Frosties. Everyone was organised into teams of 4 to race a series of races. They got points based on their place and their aim was to get as many points as possible by the end of the event. Here are some photos of people waiting for the other groups to finish at Hollow Woods race and Valedale Lake race. Overall, the crowned winner was Allison Cloudmore with everyone else not far behind. Well done everyone and thank you for coming and thank you Kailz for hosting, it was a great event. Afterwards, multiple Frosties and I went "aggressive jumping" to find some cool spots together, and make fun of each other failing - all in good humor, of course. Thank you for the laughs for all of the "swuad" who joined me on that expedition! Hugs
Li xx We did a little clear out of the club a while ago and since we've had a few spaces, it's such a luxury to be able to add people when we want. Today we added Kate (Foggy) so a massive welcome Kate! There may be a couple more people to follow in joining as well. I then decided to go and take a few photos with my starter horse but then I got found first by Amby and Willz.... And then Froggy (not to be confused with Foggy) came to join us. Hello Froggy! But then it grew a little bit more as people went for the challenge of finding us trolls under the bridge. And so it turned into a little celebration of the starter starter era. For the first time I'm going to say this about starters - we love you!
This open event was such a big throwback to when I was only 5 and I loved the Rainbow Fairy books. I was literally obsessed! For those who don't know, Rainbow Fairies are a collection of children's books (and when I say collection, I mean hundreds) of adventures of two girls, Kirsty and Rachel, as they help fairies overcome Jack Frost and his henchmen (goblins) evilness. Everyone came dressed as a fairy of their choice and brought a green goblin outfit! The first part of the event was a fashion show so everyone took it in turns to line up and introduce the fairy they were dressed as. Their outfit was then compared to the fairy and here were the winners. 1st Sophia Dawnmountain- Sophia came as Poppy the Piano fairy and we thought it was very original that she used her horse as the piano! 2nd Sandy Shadowbear - Sandy's outfit was very similar to the very beautiful Mia the Bridemaid fairy. 3rd Caitlin Lightlake - Cait surprised us (not) with dressing at Caitlin the Ice Bear fairy. Her name matched the fairy as much as her outfit! 4th Ambra Ponyluck - Amby came as Zoe the Skating fairy and we were very impressed by how similar her hat was. 5th Willow Sparrowluck - Grace the Glitter fairy was remade beautifully by Willz, well done on 5th! 6th Paige Waterfall - Isabelle the Ice dance fairy was very recognizable in Pai's outfit. 7th Molly Firefeather+ Sandy Steelstar - They both came as Holly the Christmas fairy. Maybe a slightly easier outfit to make but still on fleek! Next it was time for a game of "Fastest fairy". It was like Bulldog but I was Jack Frost and I caught the fairies by pointing at them. If they were pointed at, they had to change into their green clothes and could also catch people but they weren't allowed to move. The last on standing was the winner. The game was won by the fabulous Lilian Flowergarden and Hazel Mistgirl - congratulations. We then did our traditional hack. And time for a picnic while we decide who to fill up our one space with (we removed someone and made it to two). It was finally decided to add Riley Autumnleaf and Violet Dolphinpie with Aaliyah Snowheart, Sophia Dawnmountain, Ellie Archside and Molly Firefeather being added to the shortlist. Plus, all other people from the shortlist who attended are being boosted up a few spaces on the list although most of them will have mails about joining winging their way out to them over the next few days as we did a little clear out. Welcome everyone and thank you so much for coming! After the event we just chilled at Steve's for a bit. Thank you very much all for coming and welcome Vimto and Riley!
