FR likes a bit of nature and today we had our event away from the normal urban setting. We started on the arch that leads into Greendale. Once in Greendale they cannot leave until they found the three letters to get them out. The three letters were actually two leaders (myself and Dalma Diamondgirl) plus Rosemary Kingfield. However, this event is called “Slender Dreams” for a reason as there is a slender man catching people and turning them into slender while everyone try to find the letters (thank you Duska Miststone for being an amazing slender). Thank you very much to Alessia Nightknight for running this events. I can say on behalf of everyone that it was great fun. In the end Ruby Riverbell escaped the forest first - well done Ruby. As you can see from the about, after the event FR decided to run off to Dark Core base. I had to log off but I’m told that there was a game of hide and seek and other random messing around things afterwards. That is after we finished messing around by the portal! Hugs

It was time for a meeting where we promoted one new RI and two new leaders. It all started with everyone settling and sitting down. So then it was time to announce - RI first. Almost every champion got a vote and there were so many people that would make amazing riding instructors. But we only had one space and one person clearly took the lead. Quotes include: I’m voting for Rosemary Kindfield because she’s been so kind to me and helped me Rose is really funny and active For RI, I am voting for Rosemary Kindfield because she is a kind person all round. She is active and talks a lot on chat, she comes to a lot of events and helps out with them. So well done Rosemary Kingfield! You’ve been promoted to the sports saddle squad and we hope you enjoy it. You deserve the rank! Next it was time for leaders. This was so hard as I’d happily promote each and every RI to a leader and the votes weren’t a big help either because it was close. So in the end we went with our oldest two RIs and members. The first was Louisa Bluepie and quotes for her include: She is super friendly and a great laugh. Pou is a wonderful caring FR member. She is loved by many and welcomes many into the club. Pou is a very active Frostie and can handle drama well. Lou has been very nice to me since I joined so I think she’d fit the role as leader! And the final promotion was to Lauren Lightningvalley and here is what convinced me to promote her: She makes me laugh and face palm all of the time. She just brings a smile to your face and is a enjoy to be around. She is a very active member of FR. She has been in the club for all the time I’ve been in FR so she deserves it! I think Loz for Leader because she talks a lot, is friendly & she makes me laugh A bit more on the leaders. We have updated it so each leader has a certain role within the club. Here is a bit more about the roles.
Dalma Diamondgirl - She is YouTube leader and is in charge of uploading onto our fabulous club YouTube and also will be helping me with the website. Bethany Puppypaw - Taco is going to be in charge of a new Facebook page for the club so keep your eyes out! Lauren Lightningvalley - Los will help organise Skype calls and also help people plan events so before you run an events, I will send you to Los so she can make sure that your idea will run smoothly. Louisa Bluepie - Pou will continue to be a buddy to possible new members. If you are looking at joining mail Lou explaining who you are and that you want to be friends are you want to join FR. Lou also is an admin of the FR WhatsApp. Thank you for reading Hugs Li xx I rarely get the chance to run an event besides official FR events (meetings, open events, etc) because I feel bad taking the spot to run that event away from someone else. But yesterday I did run an event which was crazy “races” around Jorvik. The Frosties met at FR in their racing gear (nice to see you all out of uniform). We then did some races. They weren’t your normal kind of SSO races as they were made by me. Winning a race earned you 3 points, second 2 and completing it 1. Here are the races that we did: Silverglade Castle —> On top of the car at Steve’s Steve’s —> On top of inn by the bridge roof Inn by the bridge —> Over Guardians Dale GD —> South Hoof Ferry —> Ferry to Fort Pinta —> Ferry to Jarlaheim Jarlaheim —> Riddle to club house Well done everyone who came. It was fun and I was surprised by how many people competed the races! Here were the final results:
1st Lilian Flowergarden 9, Eva Lightningbrooke 9 , Rosemary Kindfield 9 4th Nadia Autumnvalley 7 5th Ambra Ponyluck 6 6th Ruby Riverbell 5, Ellie Applegrove 5, Ivy Bunnylake 5 9th Hazel Monsterstar 3 10th Willow Sparrowluck 2, Danielle Duskhaven 2, Paige Waterfall 2, Ellie Dogstreet2 14th Sandy Shadowbear 1, Maria Birchstreet 1 Hugs Li xx Another open event, another set of new members. It was slightly quieter than usual after I cleared out the list of over 100 people. But there was quite a lot of FR member, more than there has been in a while. It's enjoyable and strange to meet people who may be the future of the club which i why I love the open event! We started in the normal way - two lines. At this event, we played a conman game where everyone runs around and then you call out a group size for them to get into. They then had to complete a task which was anything from finding out everyone's weirdest fact to bowing. Well done to all of the winning teams! Then we did a common activity in FR - climbing. It was so strange with that many people but we managed it and said hello to the unicorns on the way down from the top. We then hacked and had a picnic at the riding hall where I added two people from the shortlist and one from the interest list, Eva Lightningbrooke, Ellie Dogstreet and Hazel Monsterstar. Welcome to the Frosty Family Finally, we added 6 people to the shortlist so well done them and well done everyone - thank you for coming.
Hugs Li I feel as if this blog is becoming inactive, I try my best to update it ASAP after events but it isn't always possible to do it straight away. The open event started in the normal way with everyone lining up. I then organized everyone into teams of 4 (two FR members, two non FR members). They could get to know people in a smaller group so the quieter people weren't just shouted out on say chat. We then hacked to Jarlaheim to play a game of 40 40. Everyone besides the taggers hid and then after 40 seconds they had to try to reach the fountain (photo below) without getting tagged. Well done everyone who played! We finally hacked to the picnic spot, doing the traditional sink the ferry game on the way! Here we added a record number of people. FR hasn't been full in a while because we don't normally like it full. However, there were so many amazing people at the open event that we had to add 8 people, making the club full. Welcome everyone! A quick note to the waiting list, as we almost had 200 people on it, we decided that most of them probably weren't active. So we did a mail check and 50 people replied so everyone else has been taken off the list. If you have been removed please reapply. If you weren't sent a mail but applied before the 26th February then please clear out your mailbox before reapplying.
Hugs Li xx Time flies when you’re having fun and today was Fr’s second birthday! I could sit here and write a blog of stuff about FR and things but I’ve done that on the FR ig and on my blog so go and check those out. We started the event in a pile before making a long line. Yes people are in each other, yes there are gaps where the game couldn’t render everyone but it’s good enough! After a short welcome we hacked the Apple Grove and had fun sinking the ferry on the way! At Apple Grove, we played a game of stuck in the mud before having a very glitchy picnic on the beach (no photos of the picnic). Then it was time for the public event to close and the family to go off and celebrate together. We also added Kailey Dragongren and Eleanor Ponygirl - they both have close friends in the club and seem like they’d fit in perfectly. Then we started a Skype call and made a circle (second attempt it actually looked ok) ready to play truth or dare. After many truths and dares, some of the Frosties went to do championships and the others cheered them on. I believe group 1 was taken over by the club! The evening ended with Li being chased and hiding around Jorvik. Honestly, I hate you all. Hugs
