Tonight was finally the time to announce the brand new leaders and riding instructors. There are so many amazing people in the club who deserve these ranks but in the end I chose to promote 4 new RIs and 3 new leaders. In about a month we will choose one of these RIs to become the final leader and we'll promote three more RIs! First it's time for the RIs. A RI needs to be loyal, mature and an active member of the club. There are many people that are mature, active and loyal and many members got recognized in the votes for this. So many that it would not be possible to promote them all so I looked at those who had been in the club for the longest. After much thought as reading through the votes it became clear that it had to be the following five people so well done to: Lauren Lightningvalley Sophia Puppyvalley Ellie Applegrove Louisa Bluepie Moving onto leader. A leader needs to be the above plus helpful towards the club. There were three names that kept coming up and it was natural to promote them as they were all RI previously so a giant well done to: Dalma Diamondgirl Bethany Puppypaw Bella Longsmith You have all been a massive help in the last fortnight so welcome to the leader team! Well done everyone who was a part of this election, you all were amazing.
Hugs Li

It was the time for the open event again. It was a bit delayed starting as someone got locked out of their house and only just managed to log on at 6:40 (what do you mean that was me, I'd never do that). As normal it started in two lines, we were very impressed by the turn out! We then split everyone into teams. I like doing this because it can be a bit overwhelming to be heard on chat with 50 people there, so it's better if you can just talk to one or two people from the club on group and get to know them in a quieter setting. We then played some relays! We then hacked to the picnic behind Sunfield farm. It was time to talk about who was joining. As you may know, we have a bit of space still from what happened so all that means is we get to add lots of people! Sadly, too many people was there to add everyone. We split who we were adding into 3 groups because adding 13 at once is too much. Group one got added today, group 2 at some point over the weekend (I'll mail you) and group three next week (I'll mail you). Group 1 Kate Southfoot Grace Whalepaw Olympia Northbridge Abigail Deerlake Paige Waterfall Group 2 Rosemary Kingfield Bambi Swordstorm Rachel Mistpoulos Duska Miststone Group 3 Veronika Oakfeather Annalisa Mcside Esmeralda Papaknight Cassandra Eveninghall Group one was joining today so welcome Kat, Whale, Bridge, Abi and Pai! Hugs
Li Alessia Nightknight hosted an awesome detective event last night. She gave everyone roles, towns folk mostly but a few members of the mafia. The towns people then had to try to find out who was in the mafia and "hang" them before the mafia "killed" the whole town. Some mafia got caught but I think a few slithered away with it. I can definitely say that people weren't happy when they got killed! Hugs
Li xx Louisa Bluepie ran a very fun event on Tuesday. We all gathered at the Observatory where we were split into teams. You job was to run around Jorvik and if you were near another member of FR (who wasn't in your team) you would shout "kill" and pm Pou that you had "killed" them. It was lots of fun and the final results were so: Maria Birchland = 3 deths and 0 kills Ximena Oaklee - 1 death and 0 kills Delfina Highland - 1 death and 0 kills Elizabeth Eveningknight - 0 deaths and 3 kills Sabrina Lightstorm - 1 death and 0 kills Grace Dolphinlund = 1 death and 0 kills Courtney Firelake - 1 death and 0 kills Vanessa Lionhaven - 2 deaths and 0 kills Bethany Puppypaw - 1 death and 0 kills Vivien Wolflee - 1 death and 3 kills Dalma Diamondgirl - 1 death and 4 kills Bella Longsmith - 1 death and 0 kills Donna Nightvalley - 2 deaths and 2 kills Sophia Puppyvalley - 1 death and 7 kills This made Sophia Puppyvalley the winner of the event, well done Soap and well done everyone for coming. Hugs Li !IMPORTANT! News time. Okay so as most of you will be aware, some members of FR have together formed a new club. This is a choice that they’ve made to leave and I ask everyone to respect it as they have respected peoples’ to stay. I would also like to address these rumors about “everyone” leaving. It’s less than half the club, yes it’s quite a few but not everyone.
Now onto the spaces. Today we have started to slowly (or not) fill spaces again. These are mostly returning members or people from the shortlist to the club. We will continue to only add people that we feel are close as we are in no rush to be full. And finally it’s time to talk about ranks. We aren’t going to start replacing leaders or riding instructors yet. It will happen in due course when people are ready. Thank you all for staying strong, I love you all so much and welcome to the new members! Li Here is some information for event!

What do you mean it’s late? Well here is a photo from the open event! We always start in two lines with leaders at the end. Just a small reminder to non FR members, please do not wear FR uniform as it can make the event quite confusing! We split everyone up into groups of 3 -5 with roughly 2 FR members and 2 non FR members. This is a good thing to do as it gives everyone a chance to talk to the club without having to compete to heard with the rest of the events! We then played a new game. Each group was given an emote and they’d then run around trying to use their emote on others (e.g. if you were bow, you’d click on someone and use bow). If you got emoted you would then become that emote and emote other people with your new emote. You won when everyone was one emote! It was fun and we had 2 rounds with two winning teams. After the games we went on a hack all the way to Valedale lake. In the way the club was talking about who could join. We arrived at the BBQ (which got completely flooded with people) before having a final discussion about who was joining. We finally made our minds up and added Sabrina Lightson and Adele Gladevalley. Welcome to FR guys! Hugs
Li xx Today we celebrated Maddy’s birthday! We starting by meeting at Steve’s Farm in party clothes (I think mine are on point) before hacking to the riding hall. At the riding hall we played Four Corners (everyone choose a corner and then one corner was called out, it was last man standing) and Murder in the Dusk (you tried not to get caught basically). As it was Maddy’s birthday she had the main role in all of the games. The event came to a close with a BBQ and us all writing paragraphs for Maddy. A massive Happy Birthday Maddy from all of FR!
Hugs Li xx Yesterday’s event was a classic Frostie Saturday night with a hack around Jorvik followed by a Skype call and a dance at the disco. I love you Frosties so much and Skyping you is simply crazy but also a glimpse into the girls behind the screen! Please note: before Skyping someone from SSO I strongly advise that if you are under age you speak to your parent or carer before joining in. This means that you are both comfortable with it and it will be more enjoyable! Hugs
Li xx That's the only photo I managed to get of the event tonight. It was meant to have been run by Lola Silentwood but she didn't turn up (it's important that you check that you can run the events before you request to do them). So the leaders and I ran a game of capture the flag.
The club was split into two teams, one in uniform and the others changed out of it. We then hacked to Forgotten Fields where each team was given their 'base' which is a hill. The aim of the game was to 'capture' the other persons 'flag' (who was a chosen member of that team). You did this by going up to them and using the angry emote. However, at any moment the other team could tag you by using the point emote. If you were caught you were out and had to stand by me. The winning team was the first team to capture the other team's flag. In the end it was a draw between colour and uniform with each one winning one match. The end of the event was not standard. We invited back 2 old members (Violet Shadowgarden and Emily Kingstorm (third Emily in the club)) and our retired owner Ava Northstar (aka V). Welcome back in FR! |
