Kailey Kittensmith decided it was time to find the fastest Frostie in FR. In their racing gear, everyone gather at SF ready to take on Kailz's races and the other Frosties. Everyone was organised into teams of 4 to race a series of races. They got points based on their place and their aim was to get as many points as possible by the end of the event. Here are some photos of people waiting for the other groups to finish at Hollow Woods race and Valedale Lake race. Overall, the crowned winner was Allison Cloudmore with everyone else not far behind. Well done everyone and thank you for coming and thank you Kailz for hosting, it was a great event. Afterwards, multiple Frosties and I went "aggressive jumping" to find some cool spots together, and make fun of each other failing - all in good humor, of course. Thank you for the laughs for all of the "swuad" who joined me on that expedition! Hugs

This evening Louisa Bluepie hosted a showjumping event, everyone grabbed their gear and gathered at the RidingArena. The event started with judging peoples outfits and then moved on to a small jumping course which each member had to preform. The event finished with everyone getting into groups and making up their own riding course!
Our winners of the event were: Vanessa Youngborn Allison Cloudmore Maria Birchland Ambra Ponyluck Thank you to everyone who came to the event, it was great to see everyone supporting eachother. Hugs Pou xx This weeks themed was Ancient Greece. I love the Ancient Greeks (although I do have my well known hatred for Percy Jackson), I think they're so fascinating so I naturally wanted to an event based on them! Everyone either wore or brought clothes for being an Ancient Greek and we met at the Dews Arena. As always, thank you so many of you for coming - it's so amazing! We then hacked to Fort Pinta beach. If you come to an open event you an almost always expect a hack somewhere because it's a good way to get places while being able to talk to people - which is what the open events are all about. When we arrived, we made a line ready for a fashion show. After a little incident (where no one follows me haha), everyone started walking around in a catwalk to show off their outfits. Each one of the owners selected three of their favourites and then from that, we chose the placing. We only placed our favourite 7 but there were so many there that we obviously couldn't look properly at everyone. 7th - Ivy Bunnylake 6th - Ambra Ponyluck 5th - Sylvie Mountainstar 4th - Katelyn Eaglecloud 3rd - Molly Firefeather 2nd - Allison Cloudmore 1st - Abbie Sharksmith We then learned a very short track for the Olympic races. They had to do the track three times, here are some of the people on their second lap. The race was won by Lilian Flowergarden with Sabrina Nightborn coming 2nd with Scarlett Haywright in a close third. Everyone then got ready for chariots by getting in groups. They had to do the track but in a formation with the two horses and the front and the driver behind. They weren't allowed to break formation. The winners were Molly Firefeather, Allison Cloudmore and Katelyn Eaglecloud's team - well done. Then it was time for the nominations. The club nominated 11 people to join but we only had 3 spaces so seven people joined the shortlist but today Abbie Sharksmith, Olivia Deerdotter and Slyvie Mountainstar joined FR - a massive welcome to the three of you and lots of hugs, I hope you love our "little" family as much as we do! Thank you all for coming, I'll see you all in two weeks!
Hugs Li xx Ambra Ponyluck and Kailey Kittensmith ran a pairs event yesterday. Everyone dressed as a twin with someone and came to the riding hall - ready for the event. We then played a game of bulldog which was won by Lauren Windlee before getting in a cirlce to play kiss, marry, kill (a game in which the person to the right of you says three names and you have to decide which one to kiss, which one to marry and which one to kill - I was killed too often). Then, there was a fashion show won by Allison Cloudmore, and her pair (who isn't in FR), Chloe Coldawn. Well done everyone and thank you for coming, great event Amby and Kailz!
Hugs Li xx At the last open event, Lauren Wolfhall got the most nominations to join but the place was given to Molly Firefeather as she's been coming to open events a lot longer. Instead of joining, Wolfy earned herself a place at the top of the shortlist and, this week, when we had some space we invited her to join and are delighted that she accepted. Welcome Wolfy! It's lovely for you to join our family.
Indeed, the time had come to get two new leaders. In the past, we always had 4 leaders in FR and six riding instructors but, recently, we've had two leaders (well, they're actually the co owners of FR) and eight riding instructors. But, it felt that the time was right to promote two more people to riding instructor. There were 50 votes, it was indeed close. Every riding instructor got at least two votes but most people got around 5. All of the riding instructors are amazing, else they wouldn't be riding instructors, but on Sunday the club gathered to see who would get the two places as leader. So, firstly, congratulations to: Caitlin Lightlake - she have been a leader in the past but you came back to FR, after leading, and completely re-earned that rank. You're active over all social media and she cares about the club so much. She's just the perfect leader - which the club agreed with me on. So well done! Paige Waterfall - very similar reasons to Cait. Pai is active on all social media and is always there for FR. She also cares about the club and, most of the time, is very mature. She isn't in drama and is just the kind of person you want to hang around with. Again the club agreed with me that you're perfect for the role! Well done everyone and thank you for voting but a particularly big well done to Cait and Pai. Hugs
Li xx It's been an awesome week. Thank you so much to everyone for taking part and thank you very much to our Agents for running events. Throughout the week you have been collecting points. 1 point for coming to an event, 2 points for coming second and 3 points for winning. The highest points was 14 and the lowest was 0 so quite a mix. The average points was just under 5 so anyone who got 6 (way above average) as been welcomed into JI8 as an agent. 1st Trainee Lightningbrooke 14 1st Trainee Cloudmore 14 3rd Trainee Sharkhaven 11 4th Trainee Nightknight 9 4th Trainee Autumnleaf 9 6th Trainee Sparrowluck 8 7th Trainee Ponyluck 7 8th Trainee Bunnlake 6 8th Trainee Ponygirl 6 8th Trainee Flowergarden 6 ————————————— (Above this line made it as agents) 11th Trainee Dolphinpie 5 11th Trainee Kingfield 5 11th Trainee Mistgirl 5 14th Trainee Kittensmith 4 14th Trainee Dawnmountain 4 16th Trainee Queenpaw 3 17th Trainee Fogmountain 1 17th Trainee Steelstar 1 17th Trainee Northbridge 1 17th Trainee Opalknight 1 17th Trainee Monsterstar 1 17th Trainee Proudpaw 1 17th Trainee Deerdawn 1 17th Trainee Lionhaven 1 Well done everyone! For the new Agents, here are you Spy passes. Thank you ages and remember, 6 points wasn't easy to get. You either had to of come to every event or have won at least one.
Hugs Li xx It was time to test the spies on all that they new. They gathered for the last time as Trainees at our HQ. The Trainees were given coded co-ordinates to challenges. Completing a challenge earned them a point. The aim was to find me and if you found me, you earned 2 points and the game ended. There were traitors in each team that passed on information to other people. When the teams found me, it was a tie so the tie breaker was to vote for who they thought the traitors were. Only one person discovered Trainee Sharkhaven as being a traitor but no one discovered Trainee Dolphinpie which meant that her team (Trainee Mistgirl, Trainee Dolphinpie, Trainee Cloudmore, Trainee Flowergarden and Trainee Autumnleaf) won. Well done!
Hugs Li xx The final training session was the art of stealth and was hosted by Agent Shadowbear. I didn't get many photos from this event but anyway. In the event, we would go to a certain place on Jorvik and the Agents would choose somewhere to hide. We'd stand in a square with one of us in the middle and, without being seen by us, the Trainees had to find out who was in the middle and PM Agent Shadowbear the answer. In the end, the winner was Trainee Cloudmore with Trainee Sparrowluck coming in close second.
Hugs Li xx It was time for the spies to learn the art of disguise, conducted by Agent Lightlake. Their first mission was to dress, and then act, like people at Moorland. Some people were Bobcats but mostly they dressed as new players and acted like new players. A lot of people were acting too much like newbies and they managed to get lost in between Moorland and Cape West, which is way there is a lot less people. At Cape West, they all had to dress as someone from Dark Core. We had dark riders, head of security and guards! I didn't get a photo of the final one but it was to dress up as someone from New Hillcrest.
Well done everyone for coming. Overall, the winner was Trainee Sharkhaven and the runner up was Trainee Cloudmore. Hugs Li xx |
