Frosty Roses was originally created on 2nd of March, 2015.
The club was founded by myself, Ava (V) Northstar, and my two good friends, Teagan Bravebear and Sophia Youngbridge.
The even flow of new members surprised me in the beginning. Having a full riding club in such a short time was something I had not expected at all. The start of FR was interesting (and challenging at times) for me, as it was the first club I had ever owned. Naturally, this directly resulted in some bumps along the road. Looking back to the first year of the club, I thank our members for keeping the family together and working hard to keep the club in existence (thank you Li, Katie and others for accepting the responsibility to pull us through difficulties when I didn't have the strength).
The active, passionate members have been part of Frosty Roses since the beginning and the inner family has always stayed really close to each other even after our crazy journey of over five years. The things we have experienced together seem pretty crazy when you think about it - a random visit to the WE1 (Spring Star) server for a month? We did. Why? God knows. It most definitely wasn't my brightest idea. Then again, our out of box ideas are really what made the club what is was and still is. Experimental, fun, an experience. Frosty Roses has always been a family-orientated club with my number one goal being a close, respectful family where everyone matters and is equal to one another. And the best part - it never felt forced to me. I found people who genuinely cared about each other.
I'm happy to see the same strong friendships thrive in 2020. Due to the unfortunate events affecting people all around the world in 2020, I had the pleasure of inviting many old members of FR and close friends back to the club. Cupcake Valley remains as our home and we plan to stay there in the future. These are the thoughts I hold close to my heart as we head to the future and the story of Frosty Roses continues.
In the words of Ava Northstar in July 2020
On the 30th November 2016, V decided it was time to pass the club onto the co owner - Li Silentland. FR had a rough start under new leadership because change isn't easy and many people missed V. On the 14th January 2017, some of the members decided to make a brand new club which divided FR, literally to the number, in half. 25 in the new club and 25 in the old club. But still, the 25 who remained stuck together as a family. Over the next couple of months, we were able to invite new faces to join the club and a brand new family formed. The people that joined around this time became the ones in the higher ranks of the club and we were lucky enough to have a few old members returning.
Around Summer 2017, Cupcake Valley closed. Lots of friends, club members and other clubs were stuck on the other UK servers, leaving FR literally trapped in a ghost town. However, in September 2017, there was much joy as the server re-opened and lots of old friends & members come back to us. The club has continued to grow and I am proud to call myself the owner.
However, in late May 2018 I decided that my chapter, over a year and a half, of owning FR was up. I haven't regretted a single second of it and it's been a crazy ride! The game has changed since I started and it's caused me to lose interest in owning and playing, but I will always stay in contact with FR!
