Hello everyone, it's V here! I don't know about you guys but I'm definitely already in the Autumn mood! October is around the corner and the Summer is slowly dying around us (harsh way to say it, I know). Further up in the Europe, where I live, the trees are in the bright colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. The nights are getting darker, stars brighter, the rains more frequent and air cold and crispy. I like to sit in the kitchen and play SSO, with a big mug of green tea (with honey of course, gotta keep that flu away!) and candles lit around me. To get in this Autumn mood, Frosty Roses went on a relaxing Autumn themed hack. Everyone got out their warmest mittens, favourite beanies, coziest sweaters - all in bright, warm Autumn colours. We got on our favourite brown horses and met up in Valedale Village to start our long hack! The destination was of course SSO's Autumn themed area, Golden Hills Valley, which is a must place for hangouts during this season. I had bought us a couple of BBQs for any stops we wanted to make on the way but we ended up hacking all the way to the golden shores of the Golden Hills Stable island where we gathered around the beach BBQ for some important discussions, announcements and to welcome a new member! If you want to read more about the leader changes, go check out the previous post below! Once again, congrats our new leader team: Lilah Applewood, Caitlin Lightlake & Rebecca Archstorm! We also welcomed Ellie Bravebell & Charlotte Dawnwater to our family - welcome!!! We had some photoshoot time after the event had officially ended, which resulted in lots and lots of tries to have perfect lines of rearing horses, jumping into the water to swim to the sunset & jumping over stuff at the GHV stables beach together! Well, I definitely had fun! Some us ended the night in the Fort Pinta disco and I think it's safe to say, it was a pretty good Friday night :)
A quick info for all the members of Frosty Roses, the logo competition will be posted on tomorrow (Sunday 25th September) and it will be open for MEMBERS ONLY entries for the period of two weeks - more information and details about the logo tomorrow! Till next time, V xox

Hello fellow Frosties & all other souls out there who are interested in our wonderful club life, it's V here! Today was finally the day for us to choose three new leaders to create the brand new leader team with Li & I! Frosties has had the same leaders for quite a while now & after weeks of serious thinking and discussions with the ex-leaders, the decision to let new faces have the opportunities & responsibility, was made. Firstly, I'd like to thank Courtney Hayfoot, Avery Eaglestorm & Emma Turtlebaker for their work as FR's leaders - you guys are fabulous, always have been and always will be! Thank you for everything & thanks for your support to the new leaders as well! After thinking hard, putting these people through some tests (couGHS spy week COUGH), having the club tell their opinions and vote, and discussing endlessly with the ex-leader team, we've come to a very clear decision on who should step into the leader shoes and take over FR's management alongside with Li & I! In all honesty, they were already doing it anyway so to make it official... CONGRATULATIONS Lilah Applewood Rebecca Archstorm & Caitlin Lightlake ...Frosty Roses new leader team starting today!!! Congrats, lovelies! In the past, Frosties have chosen leaders purely on loyalty and activeness - recognizing those who have been in the club for the longest. I've said countless of times that if we were to always base our leaderships on loyalty and being there since the beginning, we would never change the leaders and we would never be able to give these opportunities for those who work hard to make Frosty Roses even better & are the reason why the club keeps on growing and swimming forward! In 2016, I can say that Frosty Roses has exceeded my expectations on so many levels, we have grown and tried out new things within the club - the always expanding website, the different waiting list system (also the best one so far), theme weeks, frequent open events for those who wish to join our big family, active social medias and so much more! There is a lot to do - things that Li & I cannot handle without the help of those who have constantly been offering it for us! Lils, Becca & Cait - you have these new ranks purely because you've been more awoke to lead and manage the club than anyone else. Not noticed only by Li & I, but the rest of the club as well: considering you three got most votes out of everyone in the club. We'll see where this new leader team takes us - Cait's constant help behind the scenes that not everyone even notices (can't thank you enough for the job you do here on the website), Becca's activeness online and the patience and calmness you show in any situation on hand, and Lil - you are the best event leader I've seen in a long while, the most enthusiastic and capable one. Let this be a reminder for everyone who is inside the club & outside of it, waiting and hoping to get in. Frosty Roses won't stop evolving, growing and changing. We'll do what we must to notice those who put as much effort in the club as we do.
Once more, congrats Cait, Lils & Becca - you guys deserve it!!! Keep up the good work! Till next time, V xox Footnote from Li I agree with all of that and Northie couldn't have said it better! This was everyone's finally lesson before their grand mission. We met at the UFO Then Lilah Applewood (who was running this event) went off to hide in Valedale and she put on some leg wraps of a certain colour. People had to then find out her colour leg wraps (since you can't inspect leg wraps they had to try and see her) without her seeing them! We then did it in Golden Hills Valley and the Marshes. I didn't get many pictures as people were all hiding! But I managed to get one at Golden Hills. The final results were Elizabeth (Lizbby) Eveningnight 1st and with runners up of Mia (Mimi) Duskheart and Eleanor (Bear) Longbear.
Well done guys! The final show down is tonight! Li Today was our 4th day of spy camp and it was run by Caitlin Lightlake! Everyone met at Jarls tomb where they were given their first mission. They had to dress as people from Moorland and then act like them. Points were awarded for choice of horse, clothing and their role play skills. Then everyone had to dress and act as people from Dark Core. I had a lot of fun joining in as Miss Sands! Finally we had to look and act as people from New Hillcreast (Oi you clear off, in my day horses weren't allowed in the streets Dalmalina!) Oh poor Dals! It was a very long event (2 hours) but it was loads of fun. But there had to be winners:
Third Bethany (Taco) Puppypaw Second Avery (Ave) Eaglestorm Bella (Bells) Longsmith First Elizabeth (Lizbby) Eveningnight Well done everyone and I hope to see you tonight! |
