As always, Dalma Diamondgirl has made a beautiful video of the open event so a little bit of shameless self promo. Go and give it some love because... Well, there isn't an actual reason besides it would make us happy!

Another amazing event last night hosted by the fabulous Rosemary Kingfield and Ivy Bunnylake. We met at the circus in crazy outfits and on starters - although that wasn't on the event details and I didn't know! We started with a game of wolf. Three wolves were chosen each night and they would kill one person. A doctor would randomly choose someone to save but they didn't know who had been chosen to die. R.i.p. everyone who died in this event! The next game was where everyone had to make a scene from a movie and the rest of us had to guess what it was. Films included:
- Frozen - Hunger Games - Series of Unfortunate events - Lazy Town (specially for me because I hate it - thank you everyone!) Thank you all for coming - it was a great laugh! Hugs Li xx Another open event has passed, with joy! I can’t believe how much the open events have grown, it’s crazy. So we started in two - rather far apart - lines as we always do. Then we hacked to Dino Valley (everyone had brought horses for the cold and racing gear). Here we played an interesting game of CMC over the frozen lake. Well done to everyone who won! After CMC, we climbed up the dinosaur and then some of us had a quick golden egg stop before we left the valley for a picnic. In the FR nominations, 12 people got nominated and two joined, four were already on the shortlist and six will be joining the shortlist. So welcome to Adriana Birchcake and returning member Madelyn Nightmountain!
Hi there! On behalf of all of FR, I say happy Easter! As some of you will be aware, I am currently away and this post is scheduled. So I have a little bit of information that should make sense for Louisa and Dalma's Easter Hunt so talk to them about what to do with it at the event!
Easy: -Mini egg with zigzag design -Mini ereen egg with a ribbon -Mini yellow egg with flowers -Mini blue egg with pink and white bands -Chickens -Sticks with fake flowers in a pot -Boiled egg -Tulips Hard: -Easter egg bunting -Big pink egg -Chocolate Easter egg -Tiny mini eggs on a table -Rabbit (not in saddle bag) -Golden Egg -Chicken hat -Medium sized pink and white stripped eggs (not a mini egg but not large) Well I hope you all have a chocolate filled Easter, try not to puke! Hello, so I'm heading off to visit family meaning I'll have no internet. Therefore, I can be reached over my Whatsapp (friends know it), my Instagram (@lisilentland) or being mailed in game (mail to be sent to Lisa Silentland). And that is it so I'll see you all on Sunday evening. I wish you all a Happy Easter and I hope that you enjoy the Western Event on Friday and the Easter event on Sunday. Also, I hope that everyone liked Lili's Dressage on Monday - no photos of it I'm afraid. Well done everyone who took part in that. Another well done to Dalma Diamondgirl for this beautifully edited video - so give it some love. Bye lovelies! Yesterday evening, we were meant to have an actual organized event but the event host couldn't make it. So, I decided to run an impromptu messing around together event thing and it actually turned out to just get us some ultra nice photos! Well we (I) decided to start the event in a traditional line at Steve's! Then we hacked together to Jarlaheim (a hack that half of the club filmed, I don't know why but they did). At Jarlaheim, we played the making friends game. This is where FR has to make friends with people and them take them back to the event host. Of course, we were polite to our fellow players and they all took the game in good humor! After that, we all decided to run around the silo because, well, it's fun! And you know, being FR< we decided to go up to the top of the silo as well. It's a very long way down... Here the event was officially over (I'm not sure that it ever officially began but oh well). Here we decided to take a break and admire the beauties of Stablebucks... from it's roof. Ok, who can spot Ari falling off the roof? I was planning to sit there all evening but a wedding call had to be answered so a massive congratulatory hug to Grace Whalepaw and Willow Sparrowluck as they are now officially wifeys! Hugs
Li xx Wednesday night was a pretty crazy night with FR. We all decided to have a poke around GED's base and this is what happened. So after a, rather eventful, ride through the Greydew Mountains , we arrived at GED where I saw a certain storage container to jump on. I got up first time, but I can't say the same for others! We then decided to go and explore around the houses in GED. The Frosties and I decided to live in this one (but I bagsy the bed by the window). While we were there, Ellie decided to jump off the house onto this hill-thing. So, in true Frostie style, we all followed and got some awesome photos looking down on GED. However, I got a bit bored just standing on the cliff so I went on an adventure and climbed up another hill. At the top, we emerged from the smoke of Old Hillcrest and into the beautiful sunset of Jorvik. It was a fabulous evening (not an event for people who are wondering). I sure had a lot of fun!
Hugs Li xx Hello! Happy Wednesday, I hope that you all enjoyed the update today. We, in FR, had some very mixed reactions. But anyway, it’s time to talk about the open event. As normal, we stood in the traditional two lines before we hacked to Paddock Island. There, I split everyone up into groups ready for a race. First they did Lisa’s jumping track. Then the winners (Emily Mistwood, Lilian Flowergarden, Savannah Opalstreet and Emily Mistwood) all raced again. Lilian won’t this race. People then were put into different groups where they competed in the Paddock Island race. The winners this time were Emily Mistwood, Courtney Firelake, Lilian Flowergarden and Natalie Opalwood. Who, logically, then raced again. This was again won by Lilian who I think we can now call FR’s racing champion! After the races, we hacked to a picnic where as normal we counted up the votes for who to join. If you’re wondering how this works here it is. 1. Everyone on at the event in FR can vote an unlimited number of times for who they want in the club. 2. The votes are counted up and the winners from the shortlist are added. 3. If there is more spaces than people from the shortlist at the event then winners from the interest list may also be added. 4. Everyone who got a vote is added to the shortlist. The winners of the spaces were three people off the shortlist so well done and welcome to Kate Haysister, Azzurra Sharkpie and a to be confirmed place has been offered to Arisha Seawood. If you want to watch a video of the event our amazing camera girl Dalma Diamondgirl has recorded the event and uploaded it, so go give the video and the channel some love (shameless self promo). Although last night was a night filled with joy, something sad happened. Three members left FR (they are friends and left together). It is sad when someone leaves any club but it is felt particularly hard in FR as people don’t leave very often and we are a closely knit family. In addition, these three members were two leaders and one riding instructor. Therefore, FR for a while now will only have 2 leaders which will probably stay the same unless we feel that we need more. We will promote a new RI at the end of this week. Stay strong fam.
Lots of love and hugs Li xx Well hello there! Yesterday's event was slightly different to normal as Sandy Shadowbear ran a games show event. We all met up at the mall (somewhere we don't go enough as a club) and took over the stage. Sandy used a games show idea that she'd seen on YouTube (so credit to Violet Flowergarden). She'd give the members a quote and they'd have to wave if they new who said it. She'd then ask the first person who waved the answer. There were several rounds with different variations in each. I found the event quite amusing as I watched from the side with everyone randomly guessing names! Overall, the top three places were as follows: Third - Willow Sparrowluck, Paige Waterfall, Ivy Bunnylake and Savannah Opalbrooke each with 3 points Second - Duska Miststone with 4 points First - Rosemary Kingfield with 6 points Well done everyone and a big well done to the winner Rose. Thank you very much Sandy for running the event, it was well organized and great fun! Sadly, my recorder didn't allow me to record the event but I did record the April Fools day hack if you want to support the FR channel then that would be great! Hugs
Li xx April Fools day is always fun in FR. There are three reasons. First, the members are trying to trick each other left right and centre. Second, there is a lot of screaming on chat about SSO's prank and the colour of peoples horses. And finally, it's the first festival that FR celebrated as a club so that always marks something special ( as you would have seen on FRs Instagram. If you don't follow it's @frosty.roses ). Anyway, we had a little event/ hack thing. Everyone met at Steve's Farm with a galaxy horse. They were all being annoying and acting like newbies (going "what's a horse" "what's a Li" etc). But we managed a line and a photo. We then hacked on wards for some photos. I tried to get a circle one but FR just can't handle circles so I settled with a big hug to make up for any pranks that day and what was happening next.. We then grabbed another photo in Apple Grove: Then the fun began. I told the club that we were playing a game of colour. That's where someone says a colour and if you (in this case) don't have the colour you run across freely and if you do then you have to try not to get caught. I told them they were safe when they got passed me.
Little did they know I was "hiding" at Steve's Farm. When they didn't find me I said it was a joke and that I was really at Firgrove. Haha! Then people searched the map. SGEC, Valedale Lake. The lot! Until they finally found me happily standing at SF. Later on, I decided to remove everyone as a prank (adding them all back of course) and then ranking everyone up to leader (which I think was enjoyable). Before I end this post I'd like to share this photo of FR through the ages. You can see that the amount of people at events has changed a lot (although at fist glance 2016 & 2017 seen similar, so look closely). It's amazing how much number etc have changed and yet it's still the same idea as when I first joined over 2 year ago - a place where friends are family. |
