Hello there, it's Li!
For the open event on the 19th April, it will be racing themed. You need to ride your fastest horse (no shires) and wear your fastest tack. These are the races you will be doing, feel free to practice:
Good luck - race well!

Hello everyone! This week's open event was pirate themed. So, without further a do, let's get on with it! As normal, everyone was divided up into three groups. Within these groups, they played a game of "Captain says" and did a fashion walk. They also had a chance to introduce themselves and get to know some of the members of the club better. After this, we all met up at Everwind fields for big photo. Of course, it was then time for the traditional picnic. After much deciding, we made our choice about who was joining. So a big welcome to Valentina Moosewright, Ellie Applegrove and April Easthurricane! So many welcomes to the club, it's great to have you here! Thanks all for coming, we might not have had enough space this time, but there's always the future. Lots of you have been added to the shortlist and joining list (which can be found here and here) so please do check them out!
Hugs Li xx Here was a very original event hosted by Sophia Dawnmountain (with help from Hannah Dolphincamp). All of the frosties met at the Rangers station in hiking clothes ready for a hiking trip that they'd never forget... Now here is the situation. They are all out for a hike when one of their hiking friends (Hannah Dolphincamp) went missing. They must find her but there is a monster roaming the woods and if they stop moving, crash or, from time to time, get caught in a monster's rage, they are out and have to go and hide as well. Here are the frosties looking for the lost members: And here is where the final missing member was hiding. Can you see the club searching for her in the background? At last (after about 45 minutes) they all managed to find Ham and bring her to safety. Finally, they had to dash back to the arena so that they would be safe from the monster in the woods. Thanks everyone for a great event and thanks Ruby for making it so original!
Waiting lists will be updated tomorrow or Thursday, depending, so keep an eye out for that. Hugs Li xx Ok, so I'm just mixing two evenings with the club into one post hear. So, firstly, on the 8th March, we surprised Zoey Cutebear that she would be joining FR! She had been super close to joining so a while so it was great to finally welcome her into our family. Afterwards, some Frosties and I went on a little climbing trip around GED for some fun jumping on things. Recently, FR has been in love with the disco so, on Saturday (10th March) we all did a bit of dancing together while chatting about the predictably random stuff that just comes up on our group chats. Naturally, when I decided to take a seat everyone decided to invade my personal space... And there was even a fox in the photo (I hate foxes)!! Basically, two random and chill evenings with the family.
Hugs Li xx Hello there! Today, Maria Birchland ran a crazy racing event. it was great because we hadn't done a racing event in a very long to so everyone met in their fastest clothes on their fastest horses. Next, everyone was split up into groups to race in. They had to do various point-to-point races and then whether they came first, second or third would affect their score. Here is everyone coming into one checkpoint. We then did some more races, here is everyone waiting at another check point! Finally, everyone gathered at the Mill for the final race to the observatory. On your marks, get set... go! Well done to everyone that attended the event. We finished the event by Mars announcing the sources so well done:
Third Alice Pinesmith Ivy Pinerock Second Sophia Dawnmountain Hannah Dolphincamp Elizabeth Ponyson Eva Lightningbrooke First Paige Cranedew Sophia Puppyvalley Well done to everyone above but also well done to everyone who joined in and well done Mars for a great event! See you next Li, Hugs Li xx I'm so happy and proud to announce that FR has officially turned three! Three whole years of this crazy family hanging around together. Three years of memories, fun and laughs. As I have been in FR since day one, it is such a large part of my life and I am so proud to be the owner as it starts working towards year number 4. Today's event was all about honoring the past, so we met at SF in our beautiful purple uniform: Then, a short hack to where we celebrated our birthday last year and we recreated the circle that we made then. It was a bit bigger this time though! Finally, we hacked to the cafe at Jarlaheim which was where one of the first events ever happen. It was a tea party so we all brought some tea clothes along to celebrate. Consider back in March 2015 there were only 4 people, you can see how the club has got a big bigger... After the main event was over, some Frosties came to do a little exploring on and island while others Skyped - just a bit of chilling out together to end the day. Hugs
Li xx Another regular open event. I counted about 45 people at this one which probably explains why no one could see each other. However, as normal we split up into three groups hosted by Paige Waterfall, Aricela Riverlake and Caitlin Lightlake (one of them still hasn't sent me their photo so that's why there are only two photos). Today's event was focused around teamwork. Not only is it a really import skill, but working in groups allows non-FRs to work with the Frosties and get to know each other better. There was several different games hosted by Allison Cloudmore, Sabrina Nightborn and Eva Lightningbrooke. After 45 minutes of games (and a few admin things that we do at open events to give everyone the best possible chance of joining) we all met up at Firgrove. I hope I got as many people as possible in the photos from here on, but SSO makes it very hard to see all of the players in game which means that lots of people may have been there, just not in my photos! It was then time for a hack for our picnic. At the picnic, everyone in FR started telling me who they wanted to join. It is always quite difficult to decide who to add but today we added Eleanor Moonpaw, Hannah Dolphincamp and Sophia Puppyvalley! (This time, the photo is after joining because two certain leaders weren't in the original photo and really wanted to be.) Lots of people have been added to the shortlist and joining list or moved up on it. I hope to see everyone who came at the next open event! But, until then...
Hugs Li xx Last week, Thursday, Allison Cloudmore decided to run an event all about knowing your Frosties. We all met in the depths of Mistfall sporting our lovely purple uniforms, true FR pride! The first game was "who said that". Every jump in the arena had a letter "a" "b" "c" or "d". Alli would ask a question like "Who said 'I'm confused', a. Li b. Pai c. Nad d. Cait" and everyone would run to the jump that they thought the answer was. They earned points for every right answer that they gave: The second game was actually FR's first official event (we've obviously all been there together, but not as an event) to one of the new areas in Mistfall. The next game was trivia about FR. Alli would ask a question and everyone would friend message her the answer. If they got it right they got to move forward one on the lily pads, if they got it wrong they stayed where they were. First to reach the end won! At the end of the event, Alli announced Elizabeth (Liz) Ponyson as the winner and Aricela (Hunter) Riverlake as the runner up. Well done everyone who came and an especially well done for our winners and Alli for hosting.
Have a good day! Li xx On the 20th February, after our trivia event, we made the decision to welcome a new member to our family. Georgia Winterrider had been hanging out with FR and coming to open events for a while and many many members wanted to her to join, so that's just what happened! Here is FR giving her a massive welcome hug:
